"Trouvaillen" are found objects - beautiful things, objects that catch the eye and that mean something to the finder and, in the best case, make him happy.

Our interpretation of "Trouvaille" does not only refer to the old finds that tell us exciting stories, but also to furniture, accessories and toys - beautiful things that catch our eye and fascinate us with their aesthetics, material and quality and never let us go. Colors, shapes and materials have always fascinated me. My eyes for this were professionally trained during my studies of art history in Bern and Paris.

With the idea of ​​tracking down beautiful things, using old things as eye-catchers and combining them with new objects, I founded the company "Trouvaille kids" in 2012 and opened the shop at Thunstrasse 21 in Bern in 2014. It specializes in furnishing children's rooms, equipping them with beautiful children's room accessories, selected toys and a selection of kitchen accessories.

Since January 2016, my husband, François Geelhaar, a graduate of the University of St. Gallen's University of Applied Sciences and a qualified auditor, has also joined the company and left his job in the financial sector behind. He also has a great flair for beautiful living and unique finds. In spring 2016, we opened the second store together, "Trouvaille kids & living", opposite at Luisenstrasse 16 in Bern. Here we offer interior design concepts, furniture from Rivièra Maison and home accessories for the whole house and also help with the furnishing of larger projects in the commercial sector. In the basement of the large store there is also a large showroom for children's furniture with the brands Oliver Furniture, Lifetime Kidsrooms, Sebra and Cam Cam.
