The Sebra x Träumeland Signature mattress is an exceptionally good mattress for the Sebra bed, Baby & Jr. It was designed in collaboration with the renowned mattress specialists at Träumeland and approved by independent testing institutes.
The mattress consists of two parts: a baby mattress and an additional mattress, which is only used when you enlarge the bed by pulling it out for older children.

The mattress is a two-part, OEKO-TEX® certified specialty mattress with rounded corners, perfectly suited to the Sebra Baby & Jr. bed – both in the baby and junior stages. It has been thoroughly tested and meets the safety requirements of the European standard EN 16890:2017.
The cover is FKTV-certified and has undergone extensive testing to ensure it is free of harmful chemicals and allergens. FKTV certification is a seal of quality, guaranteeing that the mattress is both healthy and safe for your baby. The cover is soft and made of quick-drying polyester and TENCEL™. TENCEL™ is a natural fiber that absorbs moisture naturally produced while your child sleeps. The combination of these two materials creates a comfortable sleeping environment with an optimal temperature. A wedge of highly breathable ventilation material runs along the sides of the cover, ensuring optimal air circulation. A safety zipper is also included to prevent your child from accidentally opening the cover.
You can easily open the cover with a paperclip if it needs to be washed at 60 degrees. The mattress core consists of high-quality flake foam and Orbis foam. This foam is LGA-certified and has undergone extensive testing, particularly regarding health and environmental safety. The goal of the LGA testing is to guarantee a safe and healthy mattress for your child. The two types of cold foam offer excellent comfort for your child and retain their shape, preventing the mattress from sagging.
You therefore receive a 5-year guarantee on the Signature mattress. The wave-shaped underside of the mattress ensures that moisture is wicked away and the mattress remains comfortably cool. Some of the mattress material comes from leftover stock from previous production runs. This means that no material waste is generated and the mattress core may vary slightly in appearance from mattress to mattress. When you order the Signature mattress, you will receive two mattresses.
The larger mattress is used in the initial phase, when your child is a newborn, and until they need a longer bed. You use the extension piece when you need to extend the Sebra bed to the junior size and lengthen the mattress. This means you don't need to buy any additional parts as your child grows. Note: Always replace the mattress if your child sleeps in a hand-me-down bed. A used mattress is not hygienic, and studies show that it can lead to allergies and skin problems.
