GOTS
Dear April is certified according to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), the world's leading textile processing standard for organic fibers.
GOTS sets requirements for ecological and labor-related conditions in textile and clothing production across the entire supply chain – from virgin fiber to finished product – using organically produced raw materials. Furthermore, the certification includes animal welfare standards for animal husbandry and prohibits genetically modified organisms.
GOTS certification helps to ensure compliance with all 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals and to actively collaborate with all relevant stakeholders.

About the Organic Content Standard
(The OCS certification of a product refers only to the proportion and origin of the organic fibers.)
The Organic Content Standard (OCS) is an international, voluntary standard that enables the verification of the supply chain for materials originating from farms certified according to recognized national organic standards. The standard serves to verify organically grown raw materials from their agricultural origin to the final product.
Individual sites are audited annually by independent third-party certification bodies. The material is traceable from the farm to the finished product in accordance with the requirements of the Textile Exchange's Content Claim Standard (CCS).

The Organic Content Standard (OCS) aims to promote the production of organic agricultural products.
